We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team at our Newark, NY facility. In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing our production operations, ensuring that we meet our quality standards and production goals while fostering a positive work environment. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities and manage team performance to meet production targets.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary to optimize efficiency and quality.
- Provide Maintenance support to troubleshoot and repair, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and ultrasonic equipment .
- Provide training and support to team members, fostering their professional development.
- Collaborate with other departments, including quality control and maintenance, to resolve production issues.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports for management review.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance productivity.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment. Minimum of 3 years preferred.
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Familiarity with production management software and tools is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
