Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team at our Newark, NY facility. In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing our production operations, ensuring that we meet our quality standards and production goals while fostering a positive work environment. Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily production activities and manage team performance to meet production targets.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary to optimize efficiency and quality.
  • Provide Maintenance support to troubleshoot and repair, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and ultrasonic equipment .
  • Provide training and support to team members, fostering their professional development.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including quality control and maintenance, to resolve production issues.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports for management review.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance productivity.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment. Minimum of 3 years preferred.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Familiarity with production management software and tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
