A rapidly growing advanced manufacturing company is opening a new, state-of-the-art production site in Mesa, Arizona and is hiring an experienced Production Supervisor to support this expansion.
This is a hands-on leadership role reporting to the Operations Manager, responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations and ensuring production targets are met across safety, quality, delivery, and cost. The ideal candidate brings strong floor leadership, a continuous improvement mindset, and experience driving team performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Lead and supervise production operators and day-to-day shop floor activity
Assign work, manage priorities, and monitor performance to ensure production goals are achieved
Coach, train, and develop employees to build a strong, reliable production team
Ensure production schedules are met by adjusting labor, workflow, and resources as needed
Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and other teams to optimize production flow
Promote and enforce safety standards, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment
Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, waste reduction, and standardization
Track production output, downtime, labor performance, and operational metrics
Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly production reporting
Maintain and reinforce standard work practices and operational discipline
Identify and resolve quality issues within the manufacturing process
Communicate production status, risks, and constraints to leadership and stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a Production Supervisor (or similar manufacturing leadership role)
Experience working in an environment with safety, quality, and delivery KPIs
Proficiency with ERP/MES systems (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, or similar)
Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
Ability to manage shifting priorities in a high-growth environment
Lean manufacturing experience strongly preferred (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar)
Familiarity with quality tools such as SPC and standard work processes
Working knowledge of CAD or design tools is a plus
