Qualifications
2–5 years of experience in technical support, inside sales, applications engineering, or a related role.
Ability to work full in-office hours at our Manchester, NH facility.
Familiarity with metrology, automation, sensors, or embedded systems is a strong plus.
Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
Comfort with troubleshooting, explaining technical concepts, and guiding users through solutions.
Experience with CRM systems, ERP order processing, or support ticketing tools is helpful.
Preferred Extras
Experience with dimensional measurement or machine control systems.
Exposure to OEM or distributor-based business models.
Understanding of legacy system upgrades and retrofit environments.
Customer & Distributor Support
Serve as a primary point of contact for technical questions from OEMs, distributors, and end users.
Provide application guidance, troubleshooting assistance, and product usage support.
Assist with product repairs, RMAs, and coordination with the service department.
Maintain accurate documentation of support cases and customer interactions.
Inside Sales & Commercial Support
Prepare quotes, process orders, and support the sales team with product information and availability.
Assist distributors with pricing, product selection, and configuration guidance.
Support OEM onboarding with product demos, documentation, and integration guidance.
Participate in trade shows, training sessions, and customer presentations as needed.
Product Expertise & Training
Deliver product training to distributors, OEM partners, and internal teams.
Create or update user guides, quick-start materials, and application notes.
Provide feedback to product management and engineering based on customer insights and recurring support themes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with engineering and product development teams to communicate field issues and improvement opportunities.
Coordinate with manufacturing and repair teams to ensure timely product delivery and service.
Support new product introductions with testing, documentation, and customer-facing materials.

Role Summary
The Product Specialist plays a central role in supporting customers, distributors, and OEM partners through technical expertise, inside sales engagement, and responsive service. This position blends product knowledge, customer communication, and application support to ensure users get the most value from MetLogix solutions.
You’ll assist with product demonstrations, respond to technical inquiries, guide customers through application challenges, and support the commercial team with quoting, order management, and product training. Internally, you’ll collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, product development, and customer service teams to keep information flowing and customer needs addressed.
