Job Purpose

Manage material for assembly and welding to production to support the required schedule, in a fast paced and demanding environment, within budget and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the welding and assembly planners.
  • Ensure line stocking is supporting the daily requirements based on the production schedule by working closely with the Logistics organization.
  • Manage PFEP, JIT/JIS, kitting, kanban and additional supporting databases to ensure accuracy.
  • Focuses resources on continuous improvement of the movement of material through various production and distribution processes.
  • Assist in the problem resolution and maintain strong working relationships between operations and planning.
  • Pursue plant cost reductions where applicable to the team using the Lean manufacturing methodology.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or other technical discipline plus 10 or more years of experience in logistics, supply chain, and/or materials analysis. OR
  • High School Diploma/GED plus 15 or more years of direct experience in logistics, supply chain, and/or materials analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to provide strong motivation, instruction and leadership to team
  • Proven experience and success in a demanding and complex environment
  • Prior experience in a supervisory role
  • Self-starter demonstrates initiative and commitment.

Pay Transparency

​The annual salary for this role is $85,000 - $105,000 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
