PRODUCTION MATERIAL HANDLER | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

• Location: Sandy UT 84070 – 100% on-site
• Payrate: $22.93/hr
• Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 330p to Midnight

PRODUCTION MATERIAL HANDLER | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The Production Material Handler will manage material handling and housekeeping activities within a manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials for regrinding while maintaining a clean and orderly workspace in compliance with quality standards.

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

PRODUCTION MATERIAL HANDLER | RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Material Handling: Move completed products to specified locations for regrind processing.
• Machine Operation: Scoop plastic parts into regrind machines and move/weigh large containers (gaylords) using a manual pallet jack.
• Documentation: Accurately track and document the volume of regrind throughout the shift.
• Facility Maintenance: Sweep warehouse areas and ensure floors and machinery remain neat and orderly per Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Compliance: Understand and interpret controlled documents, including work instructions and procedures.
• Communication: Notify support groups and operations of any equipment issues or maintenance needs.

PRODUCTION MATERIAL HANDLER | REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
• 6+ months of previous professional work experience in any field is required; manufacturing or warehouse experience is preferred.
• Strong time management, good documentation practices, and effective communication skills in English (verbal and written).
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team with limited supervision.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing/pulling, and repetitive motion of the wrists and hands.
• Lifting Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 10 lbs
• Environment involves exposure to moving mechanical equipment and potential temperature fluctuations.
