Night Shift: 3:00pm – 1:30am

This position is responsible for performing a wide range of tasks within a manufacturing environment, including production, mechanical, quality assurance, and reliability testing. Tasks will involve working with various equipment and processes to meet product specifications, ensuring quality standards, and supporting the overall production flow. Certification for specific machinery and equipment is required, and training will be provided.

Crestview Aerospace Overview

Crestview Aerospace is a manufacturing organization working closely with large aircraft and weapon systems OEMs, such as Boeing Defense, Bell, RTX/Collins Aerospace, Northrop Grumman and several others to deliver complex design-to-build and build-to print assemblies. Crestview Aerospace provides these assemblies in support of in-service platforms, such as: H-47, V-22, F-35, F-15, F-16, F-18, KC-135, E-2, and weapon systems such as Harpoon and SLAM-ER. Crestview Aerospace is comprised of two (2) manufacturing sites, with operations in St. Louis, Missouri and Crestview, FL, and employs approximately 300 professionals.

Essential Job Functions

 

  • Machine Operation: Set up and operate different machines involved in manufacturing and fabrication processes.
  • Forklift Operation: Obtain certification and operate a 30Klb forklift.
  • Crane Operation: Obtain certification and operate a 10-ton crane.
  • Media Blasting: Obtain certification and operate large-scale media blasting equipment.
  • Inspection and Quality Control: Inspect work against required specifications and adjust as needed to meet blueprint or engineering requirements.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain a clean shop environment, including cleaning work areas and deburring parts.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in programs or functional team projects focused on improving process quality, cost, and schedule.

Professional Requirements, Qualifications & Desired Competencies:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to work any shift, including overtime, weekends, and flexible hours.
  • Must adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and proprietary data.
  • Ability to pass job-specific or specialized certification programs as required for core tasks or specialized assignments.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily works in a manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery and production equipment.
  • Requires standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of materials.
  • May involve occasional travel to suppliers or other company locations.

Physical Requirements:

Primarily manufacturing/assembly environment. Must be able to work in the following environmental conditions: noise, vibration, proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current. Must be able to bend and reach. Must have close visual acuity such as viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines, and/or assembly or fabrication parts at close distance to the eyes. Must be able to communicate effectively. Must be able to maneuver up to 20 pounds. Will be performing substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
