Production Operator

Volt is immediately hiring a Production Operator in Fremont, CA.

As a Production Operator, you will:

Operator that builds/tests electro-mechanical assemblies and assigns work tasks to operators on production line.

• Ability to use hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.
• Build to job SOP’s
• Perform jobs/tasks as assigned
• Work in a safe manner and inform cell leader of any unsafe or hazardous condition or practice
• Attend all task training and safety meetings as required
• Keep work station in a neat and tidy condition conforming to established 5S work practices
• Check that work station has all required tools/consumables/fixtures/parts and inform cell lead of any issues or missing material
• Remove any expired dated material or consumables from line and give to cell lead
• Inform cell leaders of any issues/discrepancies/quality issues of build or SOP
• Contact cell leader if parts/product is incorrect and follow assigned MRB practice
• Work with cell leaders and ME’s to increase quality/efficiency of all assigned work
• Communicate status of station to cell leader at the end of shift daily
• Perform other duties as assigned by the cell leader or Supervisor

This is a full-time - temp to hire opportunity.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:10pm PST. 

The ideal candidate will have:

• High School Diploma
• Able to read/write English language
• Manufacturing and Assembly Experience
• Ability to communicate in a clear and understandable manner
• Controlled environment manufacturing facility
• May require to lift 30-50 pounds

Pay rate: $18.00-$22.00/ per hour DOE

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
