A bit about us:

My client is a leading global manufacturer who is experience tremendous growth in their Kilgore, TX plant. They are looking to add a Production Manager to their team who is responsible for all manufacturing processes in the plant. This position is responsible for reporting of all KPI’s, production & labor reporting as well as assigned projects.

Job Details

Duties:

  • Lead and motivate production work teams to achieve operational goals
  • Provide teams with the necessary resources, knowledge, and support to perform effectively
  • Ensure products are manufactured in a cost-efficient and timely manner
  • Maintain compliance with EH&S and quality standards
  • Develop and implement processes that maximize safety, quality, productivity, and profitability
  • Ensure all operations meet customer service standards
  • Oversee training and professional development of staff
  • Foster and maintain a positive employee relations climate
  • Take a hands-on approach, assisting with product builds as needed
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues when they arise

Qualifications:
  • Education: Associates degree or equivalent, a minimum of two to four years’ manufacturing production leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong team leadership, interpersonal, people management and communication skills.
  • Comprehensive experience in production planning and workflow optimization.
  • Strong command of production systems including ERP, MRP, and MES.
  • In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, quality assurance, and supply chain dynamics.
  • Familiarity with automation technologies.
  • Proficient in setting and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Solid background in budgeting and scheduling.
  • Skilled in root cause analysis and driving process improvement initiatives.
