Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Production Engineer. This role involves preparing and running production trials, analyzing data, and developing solutions to enhance manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, hands-on experience, and a problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and running production trials.
  • Track and analyze results and statistical data from trials involving changes to equipment and/or dies, and compile comprehensive reports.
  • Develop countermeasures for manufacturing process problems.
  • Analyze major scrap and productivity hindrances; make recommendations on possible countermeasures based on sound maintenance/engineering principles.
  • Responsible for Kaizen efforts in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
  • Experience in metal forming, fluid power (hydraulics), and TPS manufacturing principles is a plus.

Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering or a related discipline required.
  • Willingness to be "Hands-On" on the production floor.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience is necessary.
  • Experience in the automotive industry is a plus.
  • Must have a valid state-issued driver's license.
