Engineer responsible for improving manufacturing processes, reducing scrap, and supporting day‑to‑day production needs in a fast‑paced environment. This role provides hands‑on floor support, leads process and workflow improvements, and collaborates closely with operations, quality, tooling, planning, and design teams to ensure efficient, high‑quality production.
- Drives process improvements, scrap‑reduction initiatives, and manufacturing optimization projects.
- Provides daily production support, troubleshooting issues on the manufacturing floor.
- Develops and enhances manufacturing methods, workflows, and equipment layouts.
- Collaborates cross‑functionally with engineering, operations, quality, and vendors.
- Applies data analysis, statistical methods, and PLC/programming (Omron/Mitsubishi) knowledge to improve performance and efficiency.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field) OR 4–6 years of related experience.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing engineering or process engineering role.
- Automotive or high‑volume production environment experience preferred.
- Experience with PLC programming is highly desired.
- CAD software proficiency (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to present technical information.
- Project management abilities with experience leading engineering initiatives.
