Production Coordinator
The Production Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring seamless operations between planning and execution. This individual must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities at once. We are seeking a proactive communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively bridge the gap between office coordination and production floor execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support the development of production schedules to meet operational demands
- Create, manage, and close production orders accurately and in a timely manner
- Ensure all production postings and costing are accurate to maintain cost control
- Verify that bulk ingredients are properly staged and ready for scheduled production runs
- Manage inventory transfers and perform physical checks to align with production needs
- Collaborate with external production partners as required
- Handle high volumes of internal and external communication with professionalism and urgency
- Serve as the primary liaison between the warehouse, production floor, and management teams
- Maintain accurate digital and physical records of production orders and documentation
- Assist in guiding Production Team(s) to execute schedules efficiently
- Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols
- Track and support production metrics and reporting
- Assist with sample preparation and coordination as needed
