Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
  • 3 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
  • Experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
  • Experience with unit testing, agile software development, and bug and change management systems.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Experience in developing business intelligence platform dashboards and workflows and SQL Pipeline .
  • Understanding and experience in developing Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Model (LLM) based solutions.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills and attention to detail.

Through technical implementation, optimization, and key solutions, gTech Professional Services helps customers attain their business goals while building long-term capabilities.As a Product Solutions Engineer (PSE) for Android Ecosystem, you are passionate about helping the users. You enjoy both landing new features to users and working on improving their experiences for existing features so that they can get the most out of Android. You drive solutions for problems affecting the Android user experience by leveraging your analytical, operational, and technical skills. You harness your engineering, web tech, and data science capabilities and work cross-functionally with other gTech Users and Products (gUP) teams to develop support solutions on the one hand and, on the other, influence product strategy with product teams.In gTech Users and Products (gUP), our mission is to advocate for Google’s users by creating helpful and trusted experiences across the product ecosystem. We achieve this by meeting partners and consumers where they are with support and help, representing their needs with our product partners and proposing fixes and features that elevate their engagement with Google's various product ecosystem. Additionally we provide a range of product services that ensure our products are optimized for every user, no matter where they are in the world (e.g., localization, digitization, partner integration and more).

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $127,000-$183,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain solutions to enable exceptional user and partner experiences across the Android Ecosystem (Android, Chrome OS, Android XR, Wear OS, Google TV, etc).
  • Develop data pipelines and reporting systems including interactive dashboards to provide and visualize key data insights including web applications and scripts to automate workflows and optimize efficiency.
  • Analyze and interpret data to identify patterns and trends that inform business strategies.
  • Collaborate and influence gUP, Product Manager, and engineering stakeholders to identify inefficiencies and pain points in existing operations and tools and to scope and prioritize solutions to those problems.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate effectively with teams, users and partners to provide feedback as well as deliver solutions, while supporting legal and compliance efforts by developing data preservation policies, managing access controls, and assisting with data-related legal matters.
