ABOUT THIS ENGINEERING ROLE

This full-time Product Quality Engineer works 6:00 am – 4:30 pm.

In this position, you are the guardian of quality from blueprint to shipment: you develop and implement quality management systems, establish proper quality control practices, evaluate systems for deficiencies, and implement improvements; you create and maintain documentation-including quality manuals, procedures, and work instructions-and review contracts, drawings, routings, purchase orders, shop instructions, and development plans for quality requirements; you assist in qualifying new manufactured products and NPI, conduct and coordinate measurement evaluations and tests (FAI, Gage R&R, MSA), and apply SPC tools; you collaborate with design engineers to identify critical product characteristics and develop training to raise quality awareness; you define inspection metrics, determine inspection methods/devices, and supervise, support, instruct, and develop inspectors; when issues arise, you investigate customer complaints and eliminate defects using root cause and corrective actions, Lean, A3s, countermeasures, Six Sigma, and poka‑yoke/error proofing; you serve on the Material Review Board to disposition non‑conforming material, support quality goals, and contribute to activities that identify, explain, and resolve quality issues; and you coordinate and lead Nadcap audits, participate in Quality System Audits (AS9100/AS13100), and drive internal audits with rigor and consistency.
