Product Owner (Functional Salesforce SME)

- Own the end-to-end solution architecture for Salesforce Billing, Payments, and Lead to Cash processes
- Act as a Product Owner-style leader, translating business needs into well-defined product capabilities, backlogs, and roadmaps
- Design and govern Salesforce billing and payment architectures, including invoicing, collections, pricing, taxation, and revenue flows
- Lead solution design across Lead, Quote, Order, Bill, Collect, Revenue lifecycles
- Partner with Product, Business, and Technology teams to drive requirements, prioritization, and delivery
- Provide architectural oversight across the entire SDLC (requirements, design, build, test, deployment, and postproduction support)
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise standards for scalability, security, performance, and integration
- Serve as the Salesforce Billing & Payments SME, advising on best practices, risks, and optimization opportunities
- Collaborate closely with integration teams on APIs, downstream systems, and financial platforms
- Be hands-on in solution reviews, design sessions, and onsite stakeholder working sessions
Requirements:
- Deep Salesforce experience with a strong focus on Billing, Payments, and Lead to Cash
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Billing, or Payments integrations
- Proven experience architecting and delivering Salesforce billing solutions in complex enterprise environments
- Demonstrated experience working in a Product Ownership capacity (backlog ownership, roadmap alignment, stakeholder prioritization)
- Experience partnering with Finance, Product, Engineering, and Business teams
- Strong understanding of billing models, payment processing, invoicing, collections, and revenue flows
- Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile/Scrum, SAFe, and/or Waterfall)
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions
- Ability and willingness to be onsite 5 days per week (non-negotiable)
- Background supporting large scale digital or billing transformation initiatives
- Experience working in highly regulated or high-volume transactional environments
- Strong executive level communication and stakeholder management skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
