Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Product Owner (PO) with a strong IT background to join our Agile development team. The PO will work closely with stakeholders, business analysts, developers, and UX/UI teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business and customer needs. You will be responsible for translating business requirements into user stories, and managing the product backlog, and ensuring that the development team
understands the product goals.
Key Responsibilities
Product Backlog & Requirements Management
Ability to gather, translate, and prioritize business requirements into clear user stories
Review acceptance criteria.
Functional specifications while maintaining a well-organized and strategically aligned product backlog.
Agile Leadership & Cross Functional Collaboration
Expertise in leading Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, grooming, standups) .
Acting as the primary liaison between stakeholders, developers, UX/UI teams, and QA to ensure shared understanding of product goals and feature priorities.
Technical & Analytical Proficiency
Strong understanding of IT systems, SDLC, cloud/APIs, and product performance metrics.
The ability to analyze data, make informed decisions.
Communicate complex technical concepts in a way that drives successful product outcomes.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
Skilled at managing stakeholder expectations, gathering continual feedback, facilitating discussions.
Presenting product vision and updates clearly to ensure alignment across business and technical teams.
Required Skills:
Act as the bridge between stakeholders and the development team.
Define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring clarity and alignment with
business goals.
Create detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily standups with Agile teams.
Ensure the development team understands the scope and priority of features.
Make decisions on product features and scope in collaboration with stakeholders.
Continuously gather feedback and adjust product priorities as needed.
Monitor the product lifecycle and suggest enhancements for future iterations.
Collaborate with QA to ensure proper testing coverage and acceptance criteria are
met.
Track and report on product performance, using metrics to inform future
Development.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or related field
Preferred Attributes:
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent certification
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), APIs, and/or enterprise IT systems
Experience in UX/UI design principles and tools
