Product Marketing Coordinator
Kimley-Horn
Dallas, Texas
Kimley-Horn’s Technology Solutions (KHTS) group operates like an internal technology company inside a 10,000-person engineering design firm — and we’re at an inflection point. We’ve built powerful intelligent transportation system software. Now we’re modernizing how those products are positioned, promoted, and scaled.
We’re looking for a mid-level Product Marketing Coordinator who thrives in environments that are:
- Still being built
- Light on process (for now), but heavy on opportunity, ownership, and influence
- Always evolving, requiring teammates to wear many hats
If you’ve worked in software or tech and have a growth mindset — staying curious, developing expertise in the competitive landscape, and developing promotional content for a suite of software products — this role was designed for you.
Responsibilities:What You’ll Do
This is a hands-on, multidisciplinary marketing role. You’ll be embedded with product, sales, and development teams, and will help with internal and client-facing messaging, promotional strategy collateral, and market research to identify and attract new business opportunities.
Product Marketing & Messaging
- Support lead generation and RFP identification
- Develop product messaging that clearly communicates value and differentiation
- Create and maintain sales enablement assets, one-pagers, case studies, and web content
- Collaborate with Communications partners to develop digital strategies for paid campaigns
- Help implement email and content marketing efforts for target audiences
Market & User Research
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research (interviews, surveys, usage analysis)
- Identify user pain points, motivations, and unmet needs
- Analyze competitors, industry trends, and adjacent tech landscapes
- Translate insights into product positioning and roadmap inputs
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with technical teams
- Share insights in ways that drive alignment and better product decisions
Collaborate with marketing teammates focused on proposals, conferences, print and digital promotional materials, and digital strategy
Qualifications:Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, HCD, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in:
- Product marketing
- SaaS/technology marketing
- Customer or user research
- Interest in long-term growth as the team scales
- Strong writing, storytelling, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in office. This is not a remote role.
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Experience in SaaS, Intelligent Transportation Systems, or B2B technology
- Exposure to user interviews, research synthesis, or competitive analysis
- Experience helping improve or define marketing processes
REQUIRED - To be considered for this role, you will be asked to submit a portfolio and/or some writing samples.

About the Company
Kimley-Horn
Kimley-Horn keeps two groups of people at the center of its business: its clients and its staff. Past president Ed Vick said, "We have no reason to exist except to serve our clients." That intense focus on providing quality to the people we serve has made Kimley-Horn one of the nation's top consulting firms in every discipline we practice.
But the firm's core purpose, articulated by its leadership and lived out daily, is "to provide an environment for our people to flourish." We know that people are fulfilled, motivated, and challenged in different ways. In order to foster our individual aspirations, we support our people as they grow into roles and take on responsibilities that are important to them. Growing professionally, having fun with our colleagues, and finding satisfaction in our work are central to our way of life.
To that purpose we add core values: "honesty, integrity, and ethics; exceptional client service; high expectations; sharing and caring; sustained profitability." Our core values and core purpose provide a foundation for the way we approach our business. Our vision is long-term and our expectation is always to perform with quality, for the sake of both groups at the center of our firm.
Through their work, our people discover untapped talents and interests. At Kimley-Horn we work hard to allow that to happen. We have college students who started as traffic engineers now working on ITS projects. We have former administrative assistants who are now human resources professionals and former marketing coordinators who are now transportation planners.
We provide the environment. We want you to take advantage of it and flourish!
