We are seeking an experienced Sr. Product Marketing Manager to lead positioning for the portfolio of products aligned to Quest's Data Solutions offerings. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role for a PMM who thrives in dynamic environments, keeps a sharp pulse on the markets they serve, and is driven by curiosity and a genuine commitment to continuous growth.

 

To be successful, you must have a strong point of view on the markets we serve, be obsessed with the problems our customers face (not just our products), and bring the instincts of a skilled storyteller — someone who can take complex technical topics and translate them into messaging that is digestible, repeatable, and resonant across audiences with varying levels of technical depth.

As a key member of the product marketing team, you will drive messaging, collateral, and enablement for assigned portfolio responsibility across our data management — working closely with product management, sales, and partners to develop and communicate the value story for each solution.

 

A critical mindset for this role: our sales organization is our highest-priority internal customer. Everything we build should make them sharper, faster, and more confident in the field.

Responsibilities:

 

• Work cross-functionally with product leads and other departments to develop and reinforce Quest Data Solutions market-leading offerings.

• Maintain an always-on understanding of the markets we serve — tracking competitive dynamics, buyer trends, and analyst perspectives to inform positioning and strategy in real time.

• Translate complex technical capabilities into clear, compelling, and repeatable messaging that resonates with both technical and non-technical audiences throughout the organization and beyond.

• Build and deliver sales enablement materials and content that arm the sales team with the tools, talk tracks, and competitive intelligence they need to win.

• Present confidently in front of customers and prospects when required, and lead internal enablement sessions that drive adoption of new messaging and positioning.

• Drive strategy for the different stages of the buyer journey to ensure a competitive and value-driven approach that results in high conversion from evaluation to purchase.

• Take ownership of both customer-facing and partner/sales enablement content — blogs, one-pagers, battlecards, presentations, and modern content formats.

• Function as a subject matter expert and key resource for sales, both internally and externally.

• Support Analyst Relations and Public Relations via responses, briefings, and technical storytelling.

• Operate comfortably in ambiguity and adapt quickly as priorities, products, and market conditions shift.

Qualifications:
  • • 8-10 years of B2B Product Marketing, Product Management, or Technical Sales background with proven knowledge of application development and public cloud infrastructure; previous database experience a strong plus.

    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environments where priorities shift and speed to execution matters.

    • Proven storytelling skills — experience taking technically complex topics and making them accessible, compelling, and repeatable for audiences ranging from sales reps to C-suite buyers.

    • Demonstrated experience building and delivering sales enablement programs, not just content.

    • Comfort presenting in front of customers, prospects, and internal audiences of varying seniority.

    • Background and comfort with the broader IT landscape — data management, governance, database tools, or related categories preferred.

    • Experience owning go-to-market planning and execution in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

    • Effective communicator with excellent verbal, writing, and presentation skills.

    • Prior experience in a buyer-facing role — sales, solution engineering/consulting, business development, or product management.

    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and influence without direct authority.

    • Self-starter with a bias to action and a track record of delivering high-quality work consistently.

    • B.S. Degree in Business, Marketing, or Computer Science/Technical preferred.

    • Relevant experience may substitute for formal education requirements.
