The Product Development Technician will support the design, assembly, and testing of new industrial equipment and automation solutions. This role works closely with engineering and cross-functional teams to build prototypes, conduct testing, and assist with product launches both domestically and internationally.

Job Details
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and test prototypes of industrial equipment
- Develop and execute test setups and test plans to validate product specifications
- Collaborate with planning, purchasing, fabrication, mechanical, and electrical teams to complete prototype builds within established timelines
- Assist with installation and commissioning of new products at customer sites (domestic and international)
- Troubleshoot equipment and system issues in development and field environments
- Travel up to 25% as required
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or relevant technical experience
- 2–4+ years of experience troubleshooting industrial or electro-mechanical equipment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Experience working with electro-mechanical devices and power transmission systems
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles
- 1–2 years of experience in material conveying, bulk material handling, or robotics
- Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
