We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Product Development Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of the Accounting and Finance industry, applying your skills in Solidworks, 2D CAD, 3D modeling, GD&T, and Mechanical to create groundbreaking products. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving our product development process, from conceptualization to market launch. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of innovative products using Solidworks, 2D CAD, 3D modeling, GD&T, and Mechanical.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and engineering, to ensure product designs meet market needs and align with company goals.
- Perform detailed product design work for development project phases, ensuring designs are up to industry standards.
- Utilize 3D modeling to create prototypes, and conduct tests to evaluate product performance and reliability.
- Apply GD&T principles to ensure accurate and efficient manufacturing of product designs.
- Oversee the entire product development process, from initial concept to product launch, ensuring all milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Continuously research and stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and competitive products, and incorporate these insights into product development.
- Troubleshoot and resolve product issues during the development phase, applying problem-solving skills and technical expertise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product development, preferably in the Accounting and Finance industry.
- Proficiency in Solidworks, 2D CAD, 3D modeling, GD&T, and Mechanical.
- Strong knowledge of product development processes and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve product issues during the development phase.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee the entire product development process, from initial concept to product launch.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong research skills, with the ability to stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and competitive products.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Creative and innovative, with the ability to conceptualize and design groundbreaking products.
