Procurement & Supply Chain Coordinator

Location: Hillsboro, TX - 76645 100% onsite

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay $22/hour

• Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM

• Temp-to-hire, W2

• Start date: As soon as possible

ROLE IMPACT

In this role you will support and enhance the organization’s procurement operations—ensuring timely, cost-effective sourcing and vendor management, accurate purchase documentation, and smooth coordination between internal teams and external suppliers. Success is measured by maintaining strong vendor relationships, minimising procurement cycle time, and ensuring purchasing accuracy and compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process purchase orders: verify accuracy, ensure cost-effectiveness and on-time delivery.

• Build and maintain vendor relationships: negotiate terms, manage vendor database(s) and procurement records.

• Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, invoices and inventory; operate electronic procurement platforms and archive documentation.

• Match purchase orders to invoices, reconcile discrepancies, assist accounts payable and budget data.

• Provide administrative support to purchasing agents, prepare reports, ensure activities comply with company policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with vendors and internal departments.

• Strong organisational skills: ability to manage large volumes of information, maintain accurate files and records.

• Education or experience: High school diploma or equivalent plus 1-3 years of relevant experience (preferred).

• Ability to work in an office environment, prioritise tasks, take initiative, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience with procurement databases, electronic purchase order systems or vendor-management software.

• Basic understanding of accounts payable or budget-related data reconciliation.

• Demonstrated negotiation or vendor-relationship management experience.
