Responsibilities of the Procurement Specialist
- The Procurement Specialist will prepare and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders while ensuring pricing accuracy, approvals, and policy compliance
- Support the quote and bid process by obtaining competitive pricing and organizing vendor submissions
- The Procurement Specialist will coordinate with vendors regarding pricing, order status, delivery timelines, and onboarding documentation
- Maintain organized procurement records and ensure documentation is audit-ready
- Track contract timelines and assist with renewal and compliance documentation
- Monitor purchase orders, follow up on delivery issues, and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal teams
Preferred Qualifications of the Procurement Specialist
- The Procurement Specialist must have 2-3 years of experience in procurement, finance, or accounting environments
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines
Salary: $45,000-55,000
