Nova Southeastern University (NSU) is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist III to join the Office of Procurement Management within the Business Services team. This full‑time role is ideal for a procurement professional skilled in managing strategic sourcing initiatives, negotiation, and partnering with stakeholders to acquire goods, services, and equipment that support university-wide operations.
The Procurement Specialist III performs advanced procurement functions to competitively acquire products, services, and equipment in support of university wide initiatives to include, but not limited, the review of purchase requisitions, preparations of sourcing events, analysis of proposals, negotiation of price, terms, and conditions in partnership with the internal stakeholders. The role requires strong analytical abilities, a high level of technical knowledge related to procurement practices, and the ability to build productive relationships with internal clients and suppliers.
Candidates should bring substantial experience in procurement—particularly in medical, surgical, pharmaceutical, or laboratory categories—along with strong communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills. The position offers the opportunity to support key university initiatives, strengthen procurement strategies, and engage in ongoing professional growth through industry evens, and special projects.
