Overview:
The Procurement Requisition Specialist will support project procurement activities by reviewing work orders and entering purchase requisitions into the NetSuite ERP system. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret incomplete or complex work order information in order to create accurate requisitions that support project purchasing and execution. The position works closely with project managers, procurement personnel, and field teams to ensure required materials, services, and equipment requests are properly documented and entered into the procurement system.
Responsibilities:
- Review work orders and support project documentation to identify purchasing requirements
- Extract relevant information from work orders including scope, quantities, cost codes, vendors, and delivery requirements
- Create and submit purchase requisitions in the NetSuite system in accordance with project procurement procedures
- Clarify incomplete or unclear work order information by coordinating with project team members
- Apply logical reasoning to determine appropriate requisition details when documentation is incomplete
- Ensure requisitions are accurate, properly coded, and aligned with project budgets and cost tracking requirements
- Maintain organized records of requisitions and supporting documentation
- Support procurement and project controls teams with requisition tracking and follow up as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience working with NetSuite or similar ERP procurement systems preferred
- Experience supporting procurement, purchasing, or project administration functions
- Ability to review technical or construction related work orders and extract key information
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to work independently and problem solve when documentation is incomplete
- Strong communication and coordination skills
