Job Title: Procurement Analyst
Location: Long Island City, NY (fully onsite)
Summary of Position:
We are seeking a highly motivated, skilled, and experienced Procurement Analyst to join our dynamic team.
This role is responsible for procurement activities, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and best value for the City in support of public health initiatives.
Job Duties:
issue solicitations, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs). Analyze proposals and bids, and conduct cost and price analyses.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with federal, state, and city regulations, including the NYC Procurement Policy Board (PPB) rules.
Prepare detailed reports on procurement status, metrics, and outcomes.
Serve as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, providing expert advice on procurement strategies and procedures.
Work closely with legal, finance, and program teams.
Detail-oriented, organized, and a strong problem-solver. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Knowledge of government procurement rules, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Strong organizational and time-management skills. Education and Experience:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, or a related field.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in procurement or a related field. Experience in a large, complex organization is preferred.
