Job Summary
The Procurement Agent supports purchasing and sourcing operations by maintaining purchase orders and change orders, improving supplier management systems, and assisting with procurement strategy execution. This role helps ensure timely delivery, right quality, and optimum cost while maintaining strong internal stakeholder partnerships and upholding high standards of data protection and integrity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain moderately complex purchase orders and change orders
  • Assist in driving innovation and improving ways of working
  • Enhance supplier management systems
  • Aid in executing purchasing and sourcing strategies to address short-term and long-term material requirements
  • Support purchasing performance metrics of timely delivery, right quality, and optimum cost
  • Assist with analysis supporting resolution of risk issues and gap identification
  • Aid in training peers and stakeholders on the procurement process
  • Maintain effective stakeholder relationships with internal customers to become a trusted business partner
  • Ensure protection of physical, financial, and cybersecurity assets
  • Properly access and manage private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other highly sensitive information with the highest standards of conduct and integrity

Required Experience
  • 4-year degree or equivalent based on demonstrated experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to learn and utilize MS Office suite applications
  • Experience supporting purchasing and sourcing activities

Nice-to-Have Experience
  • Experience with SAP ECC for materials management, purchase orders, change orders, and requisitions
  • Familiarity with Ariba
  • Experience developing and maintaining Outline Agreements and Source Lists
  • Experience monitoring PO Automation across apparatus categories
