Job Title: Process Project Engineer – Construction Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid) Type: Contract (W2) | 40 hrs/week Pay: $80–$100/hr Ref: #209-Rowland Houston Overview Support a greenfield pharmaceutical facility build by leading process-focused scope through design, construction, commissioning/qualification, and startup. Work closely with Process Engineering, Automation, CQV, Construction, EHS, Quality, Operations, and vendors to deliver compliant process systems safely and on schedule. Responsibilities • Lead process scope execution (equipment, process/utility interfaces, layouts) • Manage plans/schedules, cost forecasting, and risk/issue tracking • Drive key deliverables (PFDs/P&IDs, equipment/line lists, specs, URS support) • Support procurement and vendor management (RFQs, documentation, FAT/SAT support) • Partner with Construction/CQV for system boundaries, turnover, and commissioning readiness • Ensure GMP-aligned documentation; support change control / deviations / CAPA as needed Requirements • BS in Engineering (or equivalent experience) • 7+ years in pharma/biotech project execution (required) • Experience across design, construction, commissioning/qualification, and startup • Strong vendor coordination and field execution skills System One is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
