Process Engineering Manager

Location: 12621 Harris Branch Pkwy, Manor, TX 78653

Schedule: Full-time, Onsite

About the Role

We are seeking a Process Engineering Manager to lead process optimization and injection molding operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role is critical for ensuring productivity, quality, and compliance while driving continuous improvement and automation initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Process Control: Maintain stable injection processes and guarantee 95% productivity.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Implement SMED methodology for mold changes and TPM programs for machines and peripheral equipment.
  • Develop and Qualify Processes: Oversee injection mold testing, process development, and qualification using scientific techniques and DoE.
  • Team Leadership: Coordinate operational staff and provide technical training on injection molding equipment.
  • Automation & Maintenance: Ensure optimal performance of automation systems, arm ends, and feeders.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 standards.
  • Kaizen Leadership: Champion process improvement activities and lead cross-functional teams.

What We’re Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field.
  • Experience:
    • 7+ years in plastic injection processes (machines >1500 tons) or process engineering.
    • 3+ years in end-of-arm automation.
  • Skills:
    • Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, TPM, SMED, hydraulics, pneumatics, and robotics.
    • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
    • Proficiency in process simulation software and engineering tools.
  • Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
  • Languages: English required; Spanish or German a plus.
