Process Engineer

Specific Responsibilities:

• Contribute to continuous improvement and cost reduction activities
• Participate as required in all ISO14001 and ISO/TS16949 activities such as PFMEA and APQP incentives.
• Work with Tooling/Maintenance to build better systems of control
• Develop, analyze and implement continuous improvement ideas to meet long term customer required cost reductions and maintain profitability
• Capital equipment and tooling for internal manufacturing systems
• Process development for robust product introductions
• Process improvement to challenge typical ways of engineering to something more exceptional
• Creating best practices for center of excellence operations

Qualifications:

• Engineering Degree
• Robotics/Automation Experience
• Stamping or Assembly of Structural Steel Parts
• 5+ years relevant experience within a metal fabrication and assembly operation for Automotive, Truck, Large appliances, Custom Fabricated Equipment for manufacturing or similar manufacturing.
