Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process Control Network Analyst to join their team. This pivotal role involves collaboration with the APC team, Operations, and Technical departments to enhance and maintain the refinery’s Distributed Control System (DCS) infrastructure and Process Control Network (PCN).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and initiate plant-wide ICS projects, focusing on PCN architecture and cybersecurity.
  • Manage the PCN System Domain, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with cybersecurity standards.
  • Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot Honeywell DCS and PCN hardware/software.
  • Align process control system modifications with industry best practices for ICS APC.
  • Strengthen cybersecurity measures for PLC and SIS across the facility.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Industrial Incident Response Plan.
  • Maintain accurate system documentation and configuration management for compliance and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and collaborate with cybersecurity teams to address threats.
  • Coordinate with vendors for upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.
  • Advise on improvements to control platform and network vulnerabilities.
  • Deliver training on process control applications and cybersecurity practices to operational teams.
  • Prepare for and support compliance audits related to control systems and cybersecurity.
  • Implement and maintain disaster recovery procedures for critical systems.
  • Ensure adherence to cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and ISA/IEC 62443 in system design and operations.
  • Provide on-call support approximately one week in every five.
  • Assist in troubleshooting field instrumentation issues.
  • Ensure compliance of control applications with environmental and safety standards.
  • Offer technical and project management support for capital projects from design to startup.
  • Demonstrate strong team collaboration skills and the ability to work independently with minimal guidance.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of industry experience in IT or Process Controls.
  • Strong programming skills across multiple platforms.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity standards such as NIST, ICS-CERT, NERC, and IEC 62443.
  • Expertise in networking and information systems applications.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.

Certification Requirements: (To be obtained within 12 months of hire date)

  • Microsoft Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (AZ-800 + AZ-801) – Required
  • CompTIA Network+ (N10-009) and Security+ (SY0-701) – Required
  • CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) (200-301) – Required
  • CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) – Preferred
  • Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert (SC-100) – Preferred
  • GISCP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional - SANS) – Preferred
