Role Overview

Initio Sphere is onboarding Private Markets Strategists to deliver strategic guidance, market insight, and capital advisory services to fund managers, investors, and deal sponsors.
This is not a traditional employment role. Strategists operate as independent contractors, activated through a verification and approval process.

Once approved, Private Markets Strategists:

• Advise on fund formation, capital raising, deal structuring, and investment strategy

• Mentor analysts and deal scouts to enhance internal deal execution and market insight

• Access curated deal flow, earning opportunities, and platform-driven exposure

• Build a verified Advisor Track Record within the Initio Sphere ecosystem

This role is ideal for experienced operators, ex-investment bankers, fund managers, or senior consultants with a proven record of leading capital initiatives and advising on private market transactions.

What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Approved Private Markets Strategists may:

• Advise fund managers on capital strategy, LP engagement, and fundraising positioning

• Support deal sponsors with structuring, diligence oversight, and negotiation strategy

• Mentor analysts and deal scouts on modeling, diligence, and transaction execution

• Provide portfolio advisory services, operational insights, and value creation guidance

• Participate in curated introductions with institutional investors or co-investors

Strategists focus on high-level market strategy, deal positioning, and relationship-driven execution. Analysts handle day-to-day transactional modeling unless explicitly approved.

Eligible Advisory Areas

• Fund formation, capital raising, and LP communications

• Deal structuring, investment committee support, and transaction strategy

• Operational or portfolio company advisory

• Mentorship and technical training for analysts and scouts

• Investor relations and private market network strategy

Approval is granted based on experience, track record, and demonstrated ability to advise on real private market transactions.

Compensation & Deal Economics

• Strategists are independent contractors

• Hourly rates: $200–$500, based on experience, track record, and engagement scope

• Transaction-based incentives may be earned for advisory on closed deals

• Payments issued after successful completion of advisory milestones or deal closure

• No cap on earning potential for consistent high-value contributions

4. Begin advising and mentoring on approved engagements

This ensures selectivity, credibility, and direct access to live, high-quality private market opportunities.
