Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Opportunity Discovery & Market Mapping

  • Identify potential investment opportunities across targeted industries and geographies

  • Build and maintain market maps of founder-owned, family-owned, and sponsor-backed companies

  • Track private market activity, transaction trends, and emerging themes

Deal Screening & Early Evaluation

  • Conduct high-level screening of inbound and outbound opportunities

  • Prepare concise opportunity summaries, teasers, and screening memos

  • Support preliminary assessment of business models, financial profiles, and growth drivers

Relationship Development & Deal Flow Support

  • Assist with outreach to founders, intermediaries, independent sponsors, and advisors

  • Track interactions and follow-ups within internal deal tracking systems

  • Support relationship-building efforts that generate proprietary deal flow

Research & Investment Support

  • Conduct industry, competitor, and market research to inform sourcing theses

  • Analyze basic financials, KPIs, and performance trends

  • Support senior team members during initial diligence and evaluation phases

Internal Communication & Reporting

  • Maintain sourcing dashboards and deal flow reports

  • Share insights on market activity and pipeline quality with the investment team

  • Assist with preparation of internal materials related to opportunity pipeline reviews
