Role Overview
Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join as Certified Private Investment Analysts.
This is not a traditional employment role. Private Investment Analysts operate as independent contractors, activated through Initio Sphere’s certification and verification process.
Once approved, Private Investment Analysts:
Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform
Gain access to paid private investment analysis and diligence work
Support investors, fund managers, family offices, and operators on live transactions
Build a verified investment and transaction track record with an Analyst Rating Score
Certification tiers:
Senior Private Investment Analyst · Lead Private Investment Analyst · Private Investment Analyst / Associate
Analyst Levels & Pay Ranges
Senior Private Investment Analyst
Rating Score: 90–100
Pay: $150–200/hour
Typical Background:
Former investment banking, private equity, venture capital, private credit, or senior consulting professionals with 5+ years of investment experience
Lead Private Investment Analyst
Rating Score: 80–89
Pay: $100–150/hour
Typical Background:
Finance professionals with 3–5 years of experience in investment analysis, deal execution, or advanced financial modeling
Private Investment Analyst / Associate
Rating Score: 60–79
Pay: $50–100/hour
Typical Background:
Entry to mid-level analysts with strong analytical, modeling, and diligence capabilities
What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)
Depending on certification approvals, Private Investment Analysts may be engaged in the following areas:
Investment Analysis & Evaluation
Investment screening and opportunity assessment
Industry, sector, and company-level research
Investment thesis development and validation
Risk/return profiling and downside analysis
Financial Modeling & Valuation
3-statement operating models
DCF, LBO, and project-level models
Commercial real estate underwriting (where applicable)
Sensitivity and scenario analysis
Comparable company and precedent transaction analysis
Football field valuation summaries
Due Diligence & Transaction Support
Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis support
Financial, commercial, and operational diligence
Management presentation and data room analysis
Investment committee memo and deal summary support
Analysts may only perform work in categories they are explicitly approved for.
Approvals are earned through assessment and demonstrated performance—not tenure.
How Analysts Start Earning
Complete the Private Investment Analyst Certification Assessment or approved training
Receive category-specific approvals (Investment Analysis, Modeling, Valuation, Due Diligence)
Get verified on the Initio Sphere platform
Begin earning immediately through hourly projects and live investment work

Verified analysts are actively promoted to investors, fund managers, and deal sponsors across the ecosystem.
Certification & Eligibility
To qualify, candidates must meet at least one of the following:
Score 70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment
Complete Initio Sphere Financial Training
Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)
Analyst Rating Score
Each Private Investment Analyst receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:
Visibility on the platform
Approved investment analysis categories
Recommended hourly compensation levels
Compensation & Deal Economics
Analysts are independent contractors, not employees
Hourly rates are determined by Rating Score and approval level
Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees
Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction
Payments are issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection
Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality, performance, or compliance issues

Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated or broker-dealer capacity
All work is limited to analytical, diligence, and investment support functions and must comply with applicable securities laws.
