Role Overview
Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join as Certified Private Investment Analysts.
This is not a traditional employment role. Analysts operate as independent contractors, activated through our certification and verification process.
Once approved, Private Investment Analysts:
Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform
Gain access to real deal flow and paid investment analysis work
Support investors, fund managers, and operators on live private market transactions
Contribute to underwriting, diligence, valuation, and investment decision support
Build a verified deal track record and Analyst Rating Score
Certification tiers:
Senior Private Investment Analyst · Lead Private Investment Analyst · Private Investment Analyst / Associate
Analyst Levels & Pay Ranges
Senior Private Investment Analyst
Rating Score: 90–100
Pay: $150–200/hour
Typical Background: Former investment banking, private equity, venture capital, private credit, real estate, or senior consulting professionals with 5+ years of investment and transaction experience
Lead Private Investment Analyst
Rating Score: 80–89
Pay: $100–150/hour
Typical Background: Finance professionals with 3–5 years of experience in deal execution, underwriting, or financial modeling
Private Investment Analyst / Associate
Rating Score: 60–79
Pay: $50–100/hour
Typical Background: Entry to mid-level analysts with strong technical, analytical, and financial performance
What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)
Depending on certification approvals, Private Investment Analysts may be engaged for:
Investment Analysis & Financial Modeling
3-statement financial models
Private company and asset-level underwriting
Commercial real estate underwriting
DCF, LBO, and returns-based modeling
Sensitivity, scenario, and downside analysis
Comparable company and precedent transaction analysis
Football field valuation summaries
Due Diligence & Transaction Support
Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis support
Commercial, operational, and financial diligence
Risk identification and investment downside analysis
Investment memo, IC deck, and diligence material support
Analysts may only perform work in categories they are explicitly approved for. Approvals are earned through assessment and performance—not tenure.
How Analysts Start Earning
Complete the Private Investment Analyst Certification Assessment or approved training
Receive category-specific approvals (Modeling, Valuation, Due Diligence, Investment Support)
Get verified on the platform
Begin earning income immediately through hourly projects and live deal work
No cold applying. No unpaid “experience.” Verified analysts are actively promoted to investors and deal sponsors within the Initio Sphere ecosystem.
Certification & Eligibility
To qualify, you must meet at least one of the following:
Score 70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment
Complete Initio Sphere Financial Training
Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)
Analyst Rating Score
Each Private Investment Analyst receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:
Visibility on the platform
Approved work categories
Recommended hourly rates
Compensation & Deal Terms
Analysts are independent contractors, not employees
Hourly rates depend on Rating Score and approval level
Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees
Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction
Payments issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection
Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality or compliance issues
