About Initio Sphere

Initio Sphere is a full-service private capital ecosystem where capital meets talent. We support fund managers, investors, operators, and finance professionals across private markets by integrating deal flow, transaction audit and review talent, investor relations, networking, training, and job placement into a single platform.

Our mission is to promote opportunity, credibility, and real earning potential for serious private capital professionals. Once verified, auditors are activated on live transactions and can begin earning immediately.

Role Overview

Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join as Certified Private Capital Transaction Auditors.

This is not a traditional employment role. Private Capital Transaction Auditors operate as independent contractors and are activated through Initio Sphere’s certification and verification process.

Once approved, auditors:

  • Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform

  • Gain access to real, paid transaction audit and verification work

  • Support investors, fund managers, and operators by auditing live private capital transactions

  • Build a verified transaction audit track record and Analyst Rating Score

Certification tiers:
Senior Private Capital Transaction Auditor · Lead Private Capital Transaction Auditor · Private Capital Transaction Auditor / Associate

Analyst Levels & Pay Ranges

  • Rating Score: 90–100

  • Pay: $150–200/hour

  • Typical Background:
Former investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, audit, valuation, or senior consulting professionals with 5+ years of transaction review or audit experience

Lead Private Capital Transaction Auditor

  • Rating Score: 80–89

  • Pay: $100–150/hour

  • Typical Background:
Finance professionals with 3–5 years of transaction analysis, diligence, audit, or advisory experience

Private Capital Transaction Auditor / Associate

  • Pay: $50–100/hour

  • Typical Background:
Entry to mid-level analysts with strong analytical skills and exposure to transaction support or audit functions

What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Depending on certification approvals, Private Capital Transaction Auditors may be engaged to:

Transaction Audit & Verification

  • Audit financial models for accuracy, internal consistency, and assumption integrity

  • Verify sources & uses, capitalization tables, and transaction structures

  • Validate valuation methodologies (DCF, LBO, comparable companies, precedent transactions)

  • Confirm data consistency across financial, legal, and diligence materials

Financial & Diligence Audit

  • Review Quality of Earnings (QoE) analyses and supporting schedules

  • Audit commercial and operational diligence findings for completeness

  • Identify discrepancies, unsupported assumptions, and data gaps

  • Assess financial reporting quality and normalization adjustments

Risk, Controls & Compliance Review

  • Identify financial, structural, and execution risks

  • Assess leverage, liquidity, covenant, and downside exposure

  • Review transaction materials for compliance with internal review standards

  • Prepare audit-style findings, exceptions, and summary reports

Note: Auditors may only perform work in categories they are specifically approved for. Approvals are earned through assessment and demonstrated performance—not tenure.

How Auditors Start Earning

  1. Complete the Private Capital Transaction Auditor Certification Assessment or approved training

  2. Receive category-specific approvals (Transaction Audit, Financial Verification, Diligence Audit, Risk Review)

  3. Get verified on the Initio Sphere platform

  4. Begin earning immediately through hourly audit assignments and live transaction reviews

No cold applying. No unpaid “experience.”
Verified auditors are actively promoted to investors and deal sponsors.

  • Score 70% in at least one category of the Certification Assessment

  • Complete Initio Sphere Financial Training

Each Private Capital Transaction Auditor receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:

  • Platform visibility

  • Approved audit categories

  • Recommended hourly rates

Scores are based on accuracy, rigor, documentation quality, and compliance discipline.

Compensation & Transaction Terms

  • Auditors are independent contractors, not employees

  • Hourly rates depend on Rating Score and approval level

  • Auditors may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees

  • Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction

  • Payments issued only after successful transaction completion and fee collection

  • Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality or compliance issues

Compliance Notice

Private Capital Transaction Auditors do not:

  • Provide investment advice

  • Solicit or sell securities

  • Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated, fiduciary, or assurance capacity

All work is strictly limited to analytical transaction audit, verification, and diligence support functions and must comply with applicable securities laws.
