Our mission is to promote opportunity, credibility, and real earning potential for serious private markets professionals. Once verified, reviewers are activated on live transactions and can begin earning immediately.

Role Overview

Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join as Certified Private Markets Transaction Reviewers.

This is not a traditional employment role. Private Markets Transaction Reviewers operate as independent contractors and are activated through Initio Sphere’s certification and verification process.

Once approved, reviewers:

• Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform

• Gain access to real, paid private markets transaction review work

• Support investors, fund managers, and operators by reviewing live transactions across private equity, venture, credit, and real assets

• Build a verified transaction review track record and Reviewer Rating Score

Certification tiers:
Senior Private Markets Transaction Reviewer · Lead Private Markets Transaction Reviewer · Private Markets Transaction Reviewer / Associate

Reviewer Levels & Pay Ranges

Senior Private Markets Transaction Reviewer

• Rating Score: 90–100

• Pay: $150–200/hour

• Typical Background:
  Former investment banking, private equity, venture capital, private credit, real estate, or senior consulting professionals with 5+ years of transaction experience

Lead Private Markets Transaction Reviewer

• Rating Score: 80–89

• Pay: $100–150/hour

• Typical Background:
  Finance professionals with 3–5 years of transaction analysis, underwriting, or diligence experience

Private Markets Transaction Reviewer / Associate

• Rating Score: 60–79

• Pay: $50–100/hour

• Typical Background:
  Entry to mid-level professionals with strong analytical skills and exposure to private market transactions

What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Depending on certification approvals, Private Markets Transaction Reviewers may be engaged to:

Transaction Review & Validation

• Review financial models for accuracy, assumptions, and internal consistency

• Evaluate valuation methodologies (DCF, LBO, comparable companies, precedent transactions)

• Review underwriting logic for private equity, venture, private credit, and real asset deals

• Assess sensitivity and downside scenario analyses

Due Diligence Review

• Review Quality of Earnings (QoE) analyses and key diligence findings

• Evaluate commercial, operational, and financial diligence materials

• Identify risks, red flags, and structural issues

• Review and validate investment memoranda prior to investor presentation

Private Markets Investment Support

• Assess transaction readiness for investor review and capital raise

• Provide objective, structured feedback to deal teams

• Support investment committees with independent transaction assessment

Note: Reviewers may only perform work in categories they are specifically approved for. Approvals are earned through assessment and demonstrated performance—not tenure.

How Reviewers Start Earning

1. Complete the Private Markets Transaction Reviewer Certification Assessment or approved training

2. Receive category-specific approvals (Model Review, Valuation Review, Diligence Review)

3. Get verified on the Initio Sphere platform

4. Begin earning immediately through hourly transaction review assignments

No cold applying. No unpaid “experience.”
Verified reviewers are actively promoted to investors and deal sponsors.

Certification & Eligibility

To qualify, you must meet at least one of the following:

• Score 70% in at least one category of the Certification Assessment

• Complete Initio Sphere Financial Training

• Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)

Reviewer Rating Score

Each Private Markets Transaction Reviewer receives a 0–100 Reviewer Rating Score, which determines:

• Platform visibility

• Approved transaction review categories

• Recommended hourly rates

Scores are based on analytical accuracy, judgment quality, responsiveness, and compliance.

Compensation & Transaction Terms

• Reviewers are independent contractors, not employees

• Hourly rates depend on Rating Score and approval level

• Reviewers may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees

• Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction

• Payments issued only after successful transaction completion and fee collection

• Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality or compliance issues

Compliance Notice

Private Markets Transaction Reviewers do not:

• Provide investment advice

• Solicit or sell securities

• Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated or fiduciary capacity

All work is strictly limited to transaction review, diligence evaluation, and financial analysis and must comply with applicable securities laws.
