What you’ll impact

• Mechanical system design, analysis, and evaluation in a multi‑discipline environment using modern engineering software.
• Code‑compliant work products leveraging ASME and ANSI standards; preparation of formal design calculations and reports aligned to ASME Section III and other international codes.
• Resolution of technical issues for operating plants and next‑generation programs (AP1000, eVinci) and for fuel fabrication facilities.
• Cross‑functional collaboration with electrical and civil/structural engineering teams.
• Active participation on internal and external project teams to meet scope, budget, and schedule commitments.
• Customer and vendor interactions, including delivery of technical presentations and justification of designs and services.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical (preferred), Civil, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Engineering in Training (EIT) license and Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 5–10 years of engineering experience.
• Experience in the power sector; nuclear plant exposure strongly aligned with the role.

Compensation and work setting

We are committed to transparency and equity in our people practices. The base salary range for this role is estimated at $106,500–$127,800 per year, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and skills.
