Principal Data Analytics Developer (Supply Chain / Manufacturing)

Location: Local candidates only
Schedule: Full-time (40 hrs/week), flexible hours (7–4 or 8–5)
Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 remote
Duration: 4-month project (conversion potential, not guaranteed)

Overview

Seeking a senior-level, hands-on developer to build and scale data-driven applications supporting manufacturing and supply chain operations. This role focuses on advanced analytics, dashboard development, and large-scale data processing in a fast-moving, low-red-tape environment.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build analytics applications and dashboards using Python and modern visualization tools
• Work with large-scale Snowflake datasets (millions of rows)
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Develop and deploy applications across dev, test, and production environments
• Partner with operations and finance teams to deliver data-driven insights from ERP/MRP systems
• Contribute to Agile sprint cycles (weekly planning, regular touchpoints)

Required Skills

• Strong Snowflake SQL experience (must-have)
• Advanced Python development
• Experience building dashboards using Power BI, Sigma, QlikView, Streamlit, or similar
• 3+ years working with ERP/MRP data (BOMs, purchase orders, sales orders, etc.)
• Experience handling large, complex datasets
• Proven experience with full development lifecycle (dev → test → prod)

Preferred Experience

• Manufacturing or supply chain domain knowledge
• Rapid application development (RAD)
• Front-end experience with React or similar frameworks
• Experience with Docker/containerized applications
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub workflows
• Cloud-based deployments and scalable architecture

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (required)
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or application development
• Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale, production-ready solutions
