  • Oversee the development of dashboards, scorecards, and analytical tools that deliver insights to executives and operational teams.
  • Conduct advanced analyses to uncover performance drivers, forecast outcomes, and identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering to ensure analytical datasets and models are scalable, reliable, and well-structured for BI use.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Operations, and Finance to support strategic planning, prioritization, and performance management.
  • Establish and maintain data governance and metric alignment across departments to promote a single source of truth.
  • Mentor and coach analysts, elevating analytical capability, precision, and storytelling quality across the team.
  • Review and refine major deliverables to ensure analytical integrity, accuracy, and alignment with company priorities.
  • Support the design and tracking of success measures for strategic initiatives and business performance goals.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, curiosity, and collaboration within the BI team.
  • Partner with Data Science and Intelligent Services teams to integrate predictive and prescriptive analytics into BI deliverables.
  • Drive continuous improvement in BI processes, workflows, and tools to increase transparency and impact.
  • Operate as a trusted partner to the CAO—ensuring the BI team executes with focus, quality, and alignment to Shield Legal’s strategic objectives.

What You Bring

  • Extensive experience as a senior or principal-level data analyst, BI lead, or analytics strategist.
  • Deep expertise in SQL, data modeling, and visualization tools such as Looker, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Proven ability to translate analytics strategies into operational plans and measurable business outcomes.

  • Excellent storytelling and presentation ability—able to connect data insights to strategic and operational decisions.
  • Deep understanding of data governance, metric design, and BI lifecycle management.
  • A balanced mindset that combines strategic alignment with tactical execution and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Economics, Data Analytics, or Computer Science.
