Description:
• This contract position involves providing clinical care to individuals with eating disorders in Bethesda, MD.
• The role requires a Primary Therapist to deliver individual, family, and group therapy, manage cases and crises, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Documentation must meet regulatory standards, and the therapist will support research initiatives.
Requirements:
• Provide direct clinical care to patients with eating disorders.
LMSW, LCSW-C, LGPG, LCPC, LGMFT or LCMFT
• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy.
• Manage cases and crises effectively.
• Perform utilization reviews and clinical presentations.
• Conduct community outreach.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Ensure documentation meets regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
• M.S., PsyD, or PhD required; B.A. may be acceptable with certifications and experience.
• License in area of study preferred but not required.
• Experience with adults and adolescents in a clinical setting.
• Understanding of functional/developmental age of individuals served.
