Job Description:

The Pricing Analyst is a key member of the Genie Global Pricing Team, supporting Genie's financial objectives while maintaining a competitive position in the marketplace through current and future pricing strategic initiatives.

The role is based in Bothell, WA, and reports to the Director of Global Pricing, and is a very exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and passionate team.

What you'll do

Main duties will include

Develop and implement pricing strategies and evaluate resource requirements
Represent pricing during negotiations of large deals and support the negotiation of all global key account pricing agreements
Partner with the sales and product management teams to identify opportunities to optimize sales and profitability through pricing strategies
Lead the deal desk for North America and Latin America. Review and improve prices quoted by sales by evaluating margin impact, potential incremental volume, and competitor price levels
Own regional price lists, price guidance, and pricing policy (including discount authority)
Manage price realization for North America and Latin America
Recommend pricing actions to the leadership team to improve price realization and profitability
Provide pricing guidance to optimize the product portfolio and customer segmentations strategies
Analyze finished goods inventory trends and partner with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns
Train the sales team on pricing topics and pricing negotiation techniques

What you'll bring

Experience and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or related)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, sales, or pricing function
Proven successful experience with pricing techniques and price optimization

Key skills and attributes will include

Excellent written and spoken English.
Display commercial acumen and have a customer-centric attitude
Strong aptitude for math, and understanding/analyzing large amounts of data from multiple sources
Able to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for the intended audience
Good time management and prioritization skills
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (in particular Excel and PowerPoint)
Good initiative to delegate, follow up on, and resolve issues
Ability to develop and maintain business relationships and influence individuals across different teams and functions
Ability to work independently and in a virtual team environment
Strong decision-making capacity

Salary: The salary range for this position is $85,000 - 95,000 USD.
