Prep Cook - Days

Duties

• Assist in building and packaging breakfast tacos, breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, and wraps, ensuring that all Items are prepared according to established recipes and standards
  
• Prepare meats, cheese and vegetables by washing, cutting, chopping, and slicing various produce using slicer, knife, or other kitchen tools
  
• Operate the stove, griddle, and oven for various menu items
  
• Cook ingredients, as appropriate. This may include, yet not be limited to: bacon, sausage, saut ed vegetables, eggs, etc
  
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively while adhering to all safety protocols
  
• Assist with inventory management, including tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels
  
• Assist in keeping cold storage and dry storage areas neat and organized
  

Cleaning and Sanitation Duties:

• Clean and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, cooking equipment, and workstation surfaces
  
• Follow all food health and safety requirements
  
• Sweep, mop and disinfect floors daily
  
• Properly dispose of waste and take out trash daily
  

Requirements

• Previous experience in constructing sandwiches, salads and wraps preparation is preferred.
  
• Knowledge of basic kitchen skills and food safety practices are highly desirable.
  
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment.
  
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and quality.
  
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
