Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager to lead cost estimation, planning, and project strategy for luxury residential Homes.
This role involves:
- Overseeing all aspects of preconstruction: estimations, budgets, feasibility studies, and risk analysis
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to align designs with cost and timing constraints
- Developing accurate takeoffs, cost models, and bid packages tailored to mountain-resort construction
- Driving value-engineering and constructability reviews for energy-efficient, high-end home builds
- Coordinating permitting, scheduling, and early procurement strategies
- Coaching and mentoring a small preconstruction team while ensuring seamless information flow to project delivery
Ideal Candidate:
Background in high-end residential or resort-style construction, strong analytical and organizational skills, proficient with estimating software (e.g., BuilderTrend, Procore, RSMeans), and comfortable working closely with cross-functional teams in a unique building environment.
