Job Details
Support the preconstruction team in delivering accurate, competitive, and well-organized project estimates. This is an entry-level opportunity designed for someone eager to learn and grow under the mentorship of experienced preconstruction professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform quantity take-offs under the supervision of Preconstruction Managers and Estimators
Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and bid packages
Conduct subcontractor outreach and collect bid information
Support design reviews, constructability analysis, and cost data tracking
Participate in client and design team meetings as appropriate
Learn company systems, processes, and standards through hands-on training
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of experience in construction, 1+ year of experience in estimating
Strong desire to learn and build a career in preconstruction
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; exposure to estimating software is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Valid driver’s license in good standing
