We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Precon Manager to join our thriving construction business. This exciting opportunity will allow you to play an integral role in the planning, design, and execution of various high-profile projects. Our projects span across multiple sectors, including commercial and industrial projects -high-rise, multi-family, office, retail, federal/military, hospitality, and healthcare. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong background in cost estimation, budget management, preconstruction planning, project management, construction management, and design-build.
Responsibilities:
As a Precon Manager, your responsibilities will include:
1. Leading and managing the preconstruction process, ensuring all aspects are completed accurately and on time.
2. Developing comprehensive cost estimates for various projects, from high-rise buildings to healthcare facilities.
3. Overseeing budget management, ensuring all projects stay within the allocated budget.
4. Coordinating with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients, to ensure smooth project execution.
5. Utilizing your expertise in design-build to create efficient and effective project plans.
6. Managing the project management process, ensuring all projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
7. Overseeing the construction management process, ensuring all projects are executed safely and efficiently.
8. Continually assessing and mitigating potential risks and issues throughout the preconstruction phase.
9. Collaborating with the team to develop innovative strategies and solutions for complex construction challenges.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Precon Manager position, you should have:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in managing preconstruction phases for various project types, including high-rise, multi-family, retail, federal/military, hospitality, healthcare, commercial, and industrial.
3. Strong knowledge and experience in cost estimation, budget management, preconstruction planning, project management, construction management, and design-build.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with various stakeholders.
6. A problem-solving mindset, with the ability to overcome construction challenges.
7. A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field would be advantageous.
