Express Employment Professionals is recruiting a Precision Press Brake Machinist for a local company. If producing exact bends from detailed prints is your specialty, this role puts your setup and operation skills to work right away.
What you’ll do
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend metal parts with precise results
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to confirm setup and material needs
- Select the correct tooling and adjust machine settings per job
- Configure backgauges and parameters to hit required bend angles across various materials
- Inspect finished parts and verify dimensions to meet quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance; report mechanical issues immediately
- Keep your area clean, organized, and safe at all times
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience with press brake setup and operation
- Strong attention to detail and quality mindset
- Capability to lift and position metal sheets (typically 25–50 lbs or more)
- Excellent manual dexterity for precise alignment and adjustments
- Endurance to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work independently or on a team
