Our law firm is seeking a skilled and successful personal injury attorney to join our growing team and help our clients find justice and compensation for their injuries. Our ideal candidate will handle case files from start to finish, have excellent credentials, a passion for helping people, and a minimum of 3 years of successful personal injury litigation and trial case experience. $75,000 - $150,000 plus bonuses yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Assess potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients accordingly
  • Delegate tasks and manage a team of litigation paralegals, legal assistants, personal injury paralegals, case managers, and legal secretary
  • Represent the client at hearings, trials, mediations, depositions, and litigation
  • Negotiate suitable agreements and settle on the clients’ behalf when appropriate
  • Review, modify, and draft motions, discovery responses, demand letters, pleadings, claims, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documents
  • Supervision of Support Staff
  • Client Intakes
  • Assemble Demand Packages for Insurance Carriers
  • Settlement Negotiations
  • Court Appearances, Depositions
Qualifications:
  • 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation or trial experience in medical malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death, or civil litigation practice areas is needed
  • State license to practice law and State Bar Association membership is mandatory
  • Bachelor’s degree and a J.D. degree is required
  • Superb drafting, research, negotiation, and communication skills are preferred
  • Up-to-date knowledge of personal injury law/ tort law, wrongful death, civil and family law, medical terminology, and medical malpractice is imperative
