Job Details

A well-established personal injury firm with offices throughout the Atlanta metro area seeks a Pre-Litigation Paralegal to join their Marietta or Alpharetta office.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage pre-litigation personal injury cases from intake through settlement demand
  • Serve as primary client contact and maintain regular communication
  • Request, organize, and review medical records and bills
  • Coordinate with medical providers and insurance companies
  • Prepare demand packages and settlement documentation
  • Track case deadlines and maintain organized case files
  • Support 4 attorneys with manageable caseload (approximately 50 cases per attorney/paralegal team)
  • Handle slip and fall, auto accidents, and general personal injury matters
  • Utilize proprietary case management software (training provided)
  • Occasional travel to other firm offices as needed

Qualifications:
  • 3-5+ years personal injury paralegal experience (pre-litigation or litigation)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree a plus
  • Paralegal certificate not required
  • Experience with personal injury, workers' compensation, or criminal defense transferable
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Client-focused with professional demeanor
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Team player who thrives in collaborative environment

Work Environment:
  • Full-time position based in Marietta office (preferred) or Alpharetta office
  • 35-hour work week with flexible scheduling options
  • In-office position with potential for occasional remote work after trust is established
  • Professional office environment
  • Occasional travel to other firm locations
