Pre-Litigation Attorney – Personal Injury (1–3 Years Experience)
We are seeking a driven and client-focused Pre-Litigation Attorney to join our personal injury team. This role is ideal for an early-career attorney who wants to gain hands-on experience managing cases, negotiating settlements, and advocating for injured clients—before cases enter litigation.
Position Overview
As a Pre-Litigation Attorney, you will oversee a caseload of personal injury matters from intake through settlement. You’ll work directly with clients, medical providers, and insurance companies to build strong claims, maximize case value, and secure favorable outcomes. This is a high-impact role with significant responsibility and opportunity for growth.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of personal injury claims from intake through pre-suit resolution
Evaluate liability, damages, and case strategy early in the claim lifecycle
Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and guidance
Review medical records, bills, and supporting documentation to assess claim value
Draft and present demand packages to insurance carriers
Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters to achieve optimal outcomes
Collaborate with case managers and paralegals to move cases efficiently
Identify matters that require litigation and coordinate handoff to litigation team
Maintain organized and accurate case files in the firm’s systems
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active license and good standing in Texas
1–3 years of experience in personal injury, pre-litigation, or insurance-related practice preferred
Strong negotiation and persuasive communication skills
Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and prioritize effectively
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Compassionate, client-first mindset with the ability to build trust
