We are seeking an experienced Pre-Construction Manager to join our team in St. Louis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the pre-construction phase, from project inception through the start of construction.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the pre-construction process, including proposals, budgeting, estimating, scheduling, and value analysis
  • Conduct research on building systems, materials, costs, and building codes
  • Distribute bid packages, review and evaluate bids from suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Perform quantity surveys and material takeoffs for assigned scope of work
  • Build and maintain relationships with key vendors, subcontractors, and engineers
  • Provide design assistance and cost data to clients, design professionals, and project teams
  • Develop scopes of work for sub-trades prior to and during bid solicitation
  • Prepare preliminary project schedules and assist with the transition to the construction phase

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating and pre-construction management
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry trends
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • OSHA 10-hour Certification and First Aid/CPR Certification preferred
