- Six (6) years progressively responsible experience in the plumbing and pipe fitting trade, experience with maintenance of hot water systems/components. Possession of a Master plumbing license and a certification as a licensed plumber from the State of Maryland or from another state that qualifies for reciprocity in Maryland.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Class "C" driver's license with fewer than 6 points.
- Maintains, repairs, installs plumbing fixtures and systems in the campus’ teaching, research, and administrative buildings. To include pumps, backflow preventers, valves (inside and outside), hot water generators, refrigerated water coolers, emergency eye washes and showers, and all components of the campus’ storm, sanitary, domestic, and processed water distribution systems.
- Trouble shoots and solves equipment and component problems.
- Provides technical and skilled labor support to other trades as related to all aspects of plumbing and pipe systems.
- Performs preventative maintenance on plumbing, piped system components.
